Hitler's Theory of Untermenschen
"As long as there has been men on the Earth, the struggle between man and the subhuman will be the historic rule; the Jewish-led struggle against the mankind, as far back as we can look, is part of the natural course of life on our planet. One can be convinced with full certainty that this struggle for life and death is just as much a law of nature as is the struggle of an infection to corrupt a healthy body"
-Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler
In the eyes of Adolf Hitler there was only one race and that was the Aryan race, all others were considered untermenschen. Untermenschen is the German word for "sub-human". Those that made up the untermenschen were mainly Jews. Once the Nazis came into power, they began to spread the propaganda of the true Aryan race and the death to all untermenschen. To help the German people understand what a untermenschen was and how to identify one, the Nazis created a publication called Der Untermensch. According to the publication, the untermenschen were lower than animals and were completely coldhearted. The Jews were the leaders of the untermensch and that their one goal was to corrupt and manipulate humanity and bring about destruction to the true man. The blood of an Aryan could not be mixed with that of an untermenschen. If the blood was mixed the identity of that person or nation would eventually be lost because there would be no pure race left. "The subhuman will always be a subhuman, as a Jew remains a Jew, no matter by what name they call themselves: Churchill, Roosevelt, or Stalin. Either way we are repulsed by them and Stalin along with his allies and comrades is: Subhuman No. 1!" (Lisciotto, 2008). By this publication, the leaders of the Allied Nations were also considered to be untermenschen.
